Here are some sites that you can exchange links to a thousand sites;
Link Market (http://www.linkmarket.net)
Got Links (http://www.gotlinks.com)
LinkDash! (http://www.linkdash.com/)
I have used LinkMarket before, dont really like it seems stupid, and a lot of people abuse it :twisted:

Linkmarket is the only one I use. I am not sure if you would say I abuse it or not but for a directory site I went through and requested every single link exchange for every site with PR. Let me tell you that takes a looooooong time.
But I like it since it is the easiest way for me to find links.
Aaron by abuse I meant all those people requesting link requests for sites like this-is-the-worst-seo-job-ever.com, you know the ones cramming keywords into their URL with dashes, hate that its so annoying and those guys never stop... I dont know just my opinion... :roll:

Have you had better results with one than the other?
Are most requests you get on-topic, or do you think that matters much? I prefer on topic, but I know some people are more concerned about the PR of the sites they trade with than the topic.

I have only tried Linkmarket.
The sites I got links for were not related at all. But this was for a directory site so there is really nothing related for that. Everything goes. But I am getting near to my end with Linkmarket for this site and it looks like I will end up with aroun 1000 reciprocol links. Which is not bad at all if you ask me. (This excludes all the pharmacy, gambling, dish network, any site without PR, ect.) If you add them in you can get a ton more. Think they are up to 27,000 sites listed.

I have been known to accept links from sites without PR if they look promising. After all, PR updates don't happen too often, and a site can go from 0-5 overnight.
I'm in link market, myself. The most annoying thing is repeated requests from the same site. I'm not sure which I hate more, repeat requests from sites I've blackballed or from site I've already exchanged with!
Currently I'm using the free tier of service. I may spring for full membership if it pans out.

I have been trying link market for about a month and am just about to give it up as 100% worthless for me.
All the link requests I get are from completely unrelated sites, and usually sites that are questionable in a number of areas and which I would never link to even on my worst day. None of my requests for similar sites have gotten responded to either.
The only thing that linkmarket has done for is created more email for me to delete when people request their non-related site get linked to my site I am testing with it. I used to spend a few minutes a day until now when it is seconds and I am just going to get rid of it because it is really not worth any time or effort on my part.
In the time it takes me to weed through the spam requests, I could have found several on-target regular sites to link with myself.
